Calculations stay on your device. This policy explains advertising, purchases, usage analytics, remote configuration, currency services, crash reporting, and information you choose to share.
01Scope
This policy applies to Canvas Calculator (project name CalculatorPro), an Android application provided by Weibi Babu, with package identifier calculator.compute.numeric.expression.editable.canvas. It explains local calculation data, advertising, Google Play purchases, usage analytics, remote configuration, currency services, crash diagnostics, sharing, and feedback. The app does not require an account.
02Calculation data and local storage
Expressions, calculation results, canvas names, editing history, and view positions are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. Preferences such as appearance, language, number formatting, sound, and vibration are also stored locally. We do not provide these calculation contents to AdMob or Firebase Analytics as event parameters.
The current app version disables Android cloud backup and device-to-device app-data transfer, including canvases, settings, purchase-entitlement caches, and diagnostic logs. Existing backups made by earlier versions are controlled by your system or backup provider. We do not operate a cloud synchronization service for your canvases.
03Advertising and consent
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for app-open, banner, and new-canvas interstitial advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable privacy choices. Ads are requested only when UMP permits them. Depending on device settings, region, and consent, Google’s advertising services may process IP addresses, device and account identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. IP addresses may indicate approximate location; the app does not request precise-location permission.
Where required, the app presents a privacy message. You can reopen applicable choices from Settings → Ad privacy choices. Changing these choices discards cached ads and applies the updated state to subsequent requests. Android advertising settings provide additional controls. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.
04Usage analytics
The production version uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app use and improve features. Collection begins after the privacy flow permits analytics storage or determines that the consent requirement does not apply. Where applicable, analytics choices follow the UMP privacy message. There is no separate usage-analytics switch in the app. Debug and internal builds disable analytics collection.
Custom events contain fixed screen names and feature actions, such as opening settings or the Pro page, creating, opening, copying, or sharing a canvas, and starting a purchase or receiving a success, cancellation, pending, or failure result. They do not contain expressions, results, canvas names, feedback text, photos, filenames, order IDs, purchase tokens, receipt signatures, or payment details. Firebase may also process installation identifiers, app and device metadata, approximate region, sessions, engagement information, and automatic purchase-related events such as product identifiers, prices, and currencies when supported and analytics collection is permitted. Analytics advertising-ID collection and advertising-personalization signals are disabled by the app.
05Purchases and subscriptions
Optional Pro purchases remove all ads and unlock full-resolution image, PDF, and CSV exports. Standard image exports are free and unlimited. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles your Google account and payment information under its own policies. The app does not receive your full payment-card details. It receives product identifiers, purchase state, purchase tokens, and signed purchase records from Google Play to verify payment, acknowledge purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Pro is active. Signed records and entitlement state are cached in private local storage and excluded from system backup.
The current implementation validates signatures and queries Google Play on the device; we do not operate a purchase-verification server. Subscription access may be cached offline for up to 24 hours. A lifetime purchase remains cached until a successful Google Play query confirms that it is no longer owned. Clearing app storage removes the cache but does not cancel a subscription or erase Google’s transaction records. Restore purchases using the Google account that made the purchase. Pro removes advertising; applicable analytics, remote configuration, and crash diagnostics are described separately in this policy.
06Remote configuration
Firebase Remote Config retrieves advertising availability and frequency settings. This service may process Firebase installation identifiers, IP addresses, country and language codes, time zone, and app or device metadata to return configuration values. Configuration requests are separate from optional Analytics event collection, so remote configuration can operate when usage analytics is disabled. We do not send calculation contents, canvas names, or purchase receipts as configuration parameters. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.
07Crash diagnostics and local logs
Firebase Crashlytics, including native crash reporting, is used to investigate crashes and stability issues. It may process installation identifiers, app and device metadata, crash stack traces, and related diagnostics. Crash reporting is managed separately from advertising and analytics choices.
The app also writes local diagnostic logs. These support troubleshooting and are not automatically sent by the local logging component. When you start feedback, existing log files are attached to the email draft as described below. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.
08Feedback and sharing
When you choose feedback, the app opens an email application with your message, device information, any images you selected, and available local diagnostic logs. You can inspect, edit, remove attachments, or cancel the draft before sending. Your email provider and the recipient process sent content under their own policies. Avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
Exporting creates an image, PDF, or CSV file on your device. Sharing gives the receiving app temporary access through Android’s sharing mechanism; saving a file uses the destination you choose. Exports may include calculations, results, text, labels, and other selected canvas content. Exported copies remain outside the app’s private storage until removed from their destination. Only share content you intend the recipient to receive.
09Currency reference service
When you use currency features, the app requests reference rates, currency names, and currency images from calculator-api.weibibabu.com, hosted through Cloudflare. The request includes your selected language, and network infrastructure may process your IP address and technical request information to deliver, cache, and secure the service. Rate data comes from ExchangeRate-API. Your calculation expressions, canvas content, and conversion amounts are not sent as part of these rate requests.
Rates and currency metadata are cached locally. The app generally checks for updated rates once per local calendar day when currency features request them; the service is scheduled to refresh daily. Cached or bundled rates may be used when offline or when an update fails. These are reference rates, not guaranteed real-time trading or bank settlement rates. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and ExchangeRate-API’s terms.
10Recipients, purposes, and security
We use received feedback to answer support requests and diagnose problems. We do not sell your calculation or feedback content. Google and its service providers process advertising, analytics, and crash information as described above, potentially in countries where they operate. Website hosting may process IP addresses and technical request data to deliver these legal pages.
Google SDK and currency-service communications use encrypted transport. Local app storage and Android file-sharing permissions restrict access, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11Retention and deletion
Delete canvases in the app, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove local calculation data and preferences. Copies you exported or shared, backups created by older app versions, Google Play purchase records, and email messages are managed separately by their storage locations or providers. Google service records follow the applicable service retention and privacy controls.
For feedback records held by us, email support@weibibabu.com with the subject “Canvas Calculator data deletion”. Identify the original message or approximate date and use the same email address where possible. We will verify the request and delete records we can identify and control, subject to applicable legal obligations. We may be unable to match installation-based Google service records using an email address alone.
12Children
Canvas Calculator is a general-purpose calculator and is not specifically directed to children. It does not require a child to create an account or provide an identity profile. Parents and guardians should supervise sharing and feedback. If you believe a child sent personal information to us, contact support@weibibabu.com. See the children and privacy page.
13Changes and contact
We update this policy when features or data practices change and show the revised date above. Questions about privacy, support, or deletion can be sent to support@weibibabu.com. Developer: Weibi Babu. Website: www.weibibabu.com.
